TJJF September 2022 update – CV19 – All previous requirements removed
TJJF September 2022 update - CV19 - All previous requirements removed
The TJJF are now in a position to amend our existing guidance on Covid vaccination and testing for Jiu Jitsu training.
Our policy throughout the last 2 years has been to follow government and sporting organisations guidance and best practice to ensure as many of our members can train in a safe manner as much as possible. Following the removal of the Covid pass on a domestic level (which we were requiring for proof of status) we are now able to confirm that we no longer require visibility of the Covid pass nor proof of recent negative lateral flow or other Covid test result in order to attend training and TJJF events and can move to a position we were in prior to the Covid outbreak.
Although we are now removing all previous requirements we would again reiterate that our ongoing guidance is to avoid training if you are at all unwell, irrespective of whether this is due to suspected Covid or otherwise.
We would like to take the opportunity to thank you for training safely through the recent months and supporting your fellow jitsuka, regional clubs and the TJJF as a whole. The past couple of years have of course been challenging but the recent national events, gradings, courses and club training have been great to see and we’re looking forward to another year of the same.
